Mitsubishi Electronics has introduced four Digital Cable Ready (DCR) three-chip LCD rear-projection televisions. The new models include the 52-inch WD-52527, 62-inch WD-62527, the 52-inch WD-52528 and the 62-inch WD-62528. The televisions incorporate several Mitsubishi technologies such as the QuickMotion LCD drive, which is designed to enable the three LCD chipsets to produce clean and crisp images. The TVs offer an HD compatible resolution of 1280 x 720 and Mitsubishi's Plush upscaling technology, which can upconvert lower resolution sources to HD levels.
