Harman Kardon's DVD-47 DVD-Audio/Video player offers today's newest technologies, including compatibility with the high-resolution DVD-Audio and SACD formats, as well as video upconversion to 720p or 1080i via an HDMI output. The DVD-47 can also play back CDs, CD-R/RWs, MP3 Windows Media-encoded and JPEG-encoded discs, and audio discs. Internally, the player utilizes 24-bit/192-kHz D/A converters and pixel-by-pixel processors that de-interlace lesser-quality sources. -- Cindy Davis
