In-wall Speakers are THX Certified

Polk Audio's new LCiRTS150 in-wall loudspeakers were specifically engineered for built-in home theater applications, and to prove how sonically capable the LCiRTS150s are. The company submitted the loudspeakers to THX to seek the group's prestigious THX Certification, which involves a stringent testing process. The THX Ultra II certified speakers feature the company's 5 1/4-inch midrange woofers, 1-inch tweeters, and a special speaker enclosure that help the speakers to reproduce music and movies crisply and cleanly. And because of the speakers' industrial design, they can be flush mounted into a wall to save space within a room. The speakers also incorporate specialized controls, which allow professional installers the ability to tailor the speakers' sound to meet the characteristics of each room they are installed in without adding any extra installation cost. --Robert Archer
