E-Link and HT500E front projectors employ Texas Instruments' HD2+ Dark Chip2 chipsets and several SIM2 proprietary technologies, including its Live Colors Management (LCM) and Gamma functions, which are designed to provide precise color adjustment and gamma control settings. The E-Volution projectors feature set also offers installers an array of digital inputs such as DVI and HDMI compatibility. The HT500 E-Link also features the SIM2's DigiOptic Image Processor, which can handle a number of video formats, and it simplifies the connection to the projector through the use of a single fiber-optic cable that can be used for long cabling runs without a loss of signal.
