It's so easy to sleep through that alarm clock, unless it's Roku's SoundBridge Radio. This tabletop unit uses Wi-Fi technology to connect wirelessly to the Web and stream music from your PC over any home network. The unit is compatible with a slew of music file types, loading playlists on an SD card or tuning into any Internet radio station.

Speaking of which: It may be virtually impossible to run out of audio options, with thousands of free Web radio stations from around the world available at your fingertips. However, for those times when you feel like going old-school, you can use the AM/FM tuner, or mix things up by programming any combination in the radio's presets -- even iTunes playlists and MP3 genres.
