M55 Universal Disc Player from NAD Electronics

Master and Commander of DVD Domain: NAD's M55 universal disc player is one of four components in the company's new Masters Series of products. The M55 features a unique industrial design, and it can play back SACD, DVD-Audio, CDs and DVD video discs. The player incorporates Faroudja's DCDi chipset to clean up noisy video images and upconvert to 720p or 1080i, 24-bit/192-kHz audio D/A converters to provide the highest sound quality and an HDMI with HDCP encryption protection to offer users the latest A/V connectivity technologies. -- Robert Archer
