Stay Cool with LG's HDTV Refrigerator

LG has had some TV/fridge combos in the past, but the LSC27990TT will have you staring so long, you'd think you saw some old cheese move.

The latest addition to the company's large offering of refrigerators is side-by-side icebox with digital high-def built-in.

Instead of waiting for commercial breaks to get your snacks, you can simultaneously make a sandwich and flip over to a DVD; the unit has a connection right on top. And while you're getting a beverage, you can check your local forecast via a separate LCD.

Other features include a recipe bank, a calendar, child lock functions, a room temperature display and a digital photo album.

The unit won't be available until next year, but you can start saving. After all, cool doesn't come cheap; the LSC27990TT will run $3,600. -- Rachel Cericola
