The 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has announced its Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Awards Honorees. Sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the producer of the International CES, and endorsed by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), the International CES Innovations Awards highlight product advancements in technology design and engineering.

"With a more than 1,000 entries from 160 companies, the Innovations program continues to grow in size and prestige year after year", said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CEA.

Winning entries from 30 product categories will be displayed at the 2006 International CES in the all-new Innovations Plus at the Sands.

The Best of Innovations designation is awarded to products that earned the highest honors from the panel of judges.
